Foreign Languages and Home School

One of the concerns of parents when considering home school is how their child or children will get some of the extra curricular courses that are offered in high school.

As pointed out in prior posts, when parents work together there can be strength in numbers, and various gifts in numbers.

You might have a parent who is musical, artistic, an auto mechanic, a plumber, a contractor, a seamstress, or a gardener.  People have all sorts of gifts and skills.

Parents can figure ways to offer their skills as extra curricular classes.

Beyond that, many courses are offered online. From time to time you see ads with opportunities to play the piano or guitar offered online.

One option that is taught online is that of foreign languages. There are many apps. Some are free. There are free YouTube classes in various languages. There are paid options.

In other words, where there is a will, there is a way.

Here is a German translation that may be an inspiration to a student that has an interest in languages and is wondering where it could be used.
