The Formula to Creating Goals That Help You Improve Your Personal Life

In life, we have a formula to use that helps us to create goals that assist us in improving our personal life. To start these goals however, we must use our inner qualities. The inner qualities include skills, ability to commit, ability to set priorities, ability to accept failure, will to say no, and so on. We have self-awareness, personality and other details within as well that helps us to find ways to improve our personal life.

Once you find your qualities, develop them.  That way, you’ll find it easy to set goals. To get started consider brainstorming long-term goals, short-term goals, evaluation of these goals, brainstorming some more, evaluating, and so on. You want to consider managing your time as well.

Be sure to start your plans with short-term goals. The short-term goals should lead up to your long-term goals. Short-term goals should include what you want to accomplish in the next few years. Do you plan to open a business? Do you plan to move? Do you plan to start a new job? Each question will lead you into a good direction as you find answers. For example, I plan to open a business in the next few years. How do you plan to open that business? What business are you considering? How will you get the money to start your business? You have many options, so check your resources, learn new resources and continue building your dreams to improve your personal life.

After you layout the plans for your short-term dreams, start working toward your long-term goals. For instance, in the next ten years what do you see yourself doing? Use your visions and voices inside to cultivate a plan. Brainstorm your ideas.

To set up long-term plans keep them realistic. Be sure that your long-term falls in accord with your short-term goals. For example, if you plan to start a business in the next few years, build upon this dream and plan to become productive and established in the near future. Start saving money to back your plans. You will need to set up a budget that allows you money to save.

You have to have congruity between your short term and long term goals.  For example, if you want to open a business, study how others have done it in that field.  Find a mentor.  Learn.  Make your actions correspond to your goals.  Sitting and watching Netflix all day or staying on social media all day is not congruent with your goals.

Also, you need to vote for those who allow conservatism and the free market.   You need to vote for capitalism and not socialism or communism.  Socialism or communism takes the fruits, the profits, the rewards of those who have worked hard, and give them to others.  How you vote, and what political view you espouse, will definitely affect your dreams.

If you vote for more people to be on welfare, then as you are profitable in business, you will find your profits being taken through taxes and given to others.  This is what socialism does, which is why you need to vote against it if you want to be a business owner.  Focus on ideas that give people a hand up, rather than a hand out.   Currently, at the time of this writing, that would be the Republicans, who support policies that are capitalistic. They are not perfect, but they offer policies that help small business owners, and they do not support marxism or socialismmarxism or socialism as the left does.

So when you make your personal dreams, remember, don’t fight your own dreams by voting for the wrong political party because they can destroy your dreams.  Look at what happened in NYC and Portland and other places during the summer of 2020, where mobs destroyed businesses and stole inventory.  That is the consequence of a socialist mindset that does not believe in private property…in other words, socialists believe that what is yours is up for grabs if they want to steal it.

So remember, if you have your own business dreams, you have to be smart enough politically to not war against yourself and against your own dreams.

The individual will take the bad; see new light and continuing learning from his or her errors.

It’s ok to have views, but when you don’t have facts to support your claims, why speak? Some Reasons Why ELearning Is Becoming Popular

e-learning

ELearning refers to electronic learning. It’s a phrase that originated from the old-fashioned learning techniques you would find in school laboratories and workshops. Today, however, it has become a more popular method of learning because of the benefits it offers. These advantages include; cost effectiveness, ease of use, ease of access and the fact that it can be carried out in the home, in the classroom or at work. The main advantages are that it can be easily accessed, it saves time and energy and that learning can be more interactive than passive.

The main reason why online learning is becoming so popular is that it is a much cheaper method than traditional teaching. There are several factors to consider when deciding to do so; however, some of the main factors include; whether it’s for personal or professional use. For example, a professional will require access to material in their field of expertise while a personal user would prefer something simpler and easier. If you’re looking to teach a particular subject to a larger number of people, this can become very time consuming, especially if you want to impart information to students over a period of time.

When it comes to online learning, it’s essential that you are clear about what you wish to achieve. This can often be done by researching and getting in touch with people who have already used the system. This way, you can get a feel for how the system works and where the most important information is located. For example, if you want your system to be used in the workplace, then the information should be easy to locate and accessible by all employees, regardless of their location. On the other hand, if you’re using it for personal use, then you might just be interested in finding out more about how it works.

The next thing you should think about is what your expectations are from the system. You can opt to go for an open system where anyone can access the information, or one that’s closed off to specific individuals or companies. It’s important that you determine what you want before making any decisions on the type of system you wish to use. You will want to get a feel for how the content is presented and read so that you know whether the material is easy to learn.

In addition to this, it’s necessary to decide what the goals are of the eLearning system you’re planning to use. Will it be used in a classroom setting or a training environment? Is there a need for specific information? Will it be used to provide for personal education? Will it be used to help develop a specific skill such as communication or leadership?

The choice of course materials that are used should also be considered carefully. This will depend on whether you’re using them for training or for professional use. While the material should be simple, you still need to ensure that it’s up-to-date and relevant to the subject matter.

Creative Solutions Using “What If?”

For the most creative solutions you need to get your mind looking in new directions. One of the most systematic ways to do this, is with a list of words, primarily adjectives, to create “what if?” scenarios. The process starts with the question, “what if it was…” and then you insert a word from the list. “It” in the question is the problem you’re working on, or the current solution or situation.

Let’s explain the process with an example or two.

Example one: You have is an unpleasant co-worker. You aren’t sure how to deal with him, so you ask about the problem, “What if it was…” and insert from the list “smaller.” How could you make the problem smaller? Spend less time with that person? Get reassigned?

“What if it was… fun?” makes you wonder if being annoying yourself might keep the other person away from you. “Closer” makes you wonder if this person might be nicer to you if they knew you better. You continue down the list and work with each word a bit to get new ideas, which you will look at more analytically later.

Example two: Your house is too crowded because you’re running your business from it. You ask, “What if it was…” and insert from the word list, “smaller.” Your house is already too small, but could the business be smaller? The word “divided” might give you the idea to keep the business in just one part of the house.

Since most words on the list won’t help, you can go through the irrelevant ones quickly. But don’t automatically dismiss them without a few seconds consideration. “What if it was hopeless?” may seem like a useless question, or it may make you realize that you just can’t keep the business in the house any longer. Moving into a rented office might be the most profitable of your creative solutions.

The Creative Solutions Word List

Feel free to create your own list of words. You’ll want to use adjectives, descriptive phrases, and any words that can change your perspective. Here is a short list to get you started:

What if it was… larger, smaller, farther away, closer, sooner, later, easier, more difficult, higher, fat, rich, short, black, certain, hopeless, newer, boring, casual, subtracted from, cheaper, common, divided, more interesting, extravagant, subtle, or fun?

Just as with most problem solving techniques, it’s important to allow the ideas to flow without judging them initially. You don’t want to stifle the creative process. Take notes, then evaluate your ideas later, when you have a page full of creative solutions.

4 Things You Should be Focusing on Every Day

Every day our attention is pulled in a million directions. To-do lists, both personal and work, family, friends, and even random errands, take up valuable brain real estate. It can be challenging to cut through the excess and give your attention to what really matters. Keep reading for the four things that you should be giving some attention to every day.

1. On a Goal
You most likely have at least one goal that you are currently working on. Choose one goal to focus on every day. Focusing on a specific goal every day will allow it to stay in the forefront of your mind and ensure that you spend time working on it. Remember that breaking up big goals into smaller steps will allow you to spread the work over time.

2. On the Now
Allowing your mind to dwell on the past is of little use to your current situation. The past is over, and you can’t change it. Focus on what is happening right now in your life, what you need to accomplish, and on the good things you have to reflect on. Keeping your mind present is a better use of your time. If you look in the rear view mirror of your life, you go nowhere. You can’t move ahead looking backward.

3. On the Task at Hand
This is important for all tasks that you must complete, but it can be difficult. Losing yourself to a task is something that typically only happens when you really enjoy what you’re working on. However, with practice, you can learn to tune out distractions and find your flow. If something is really bothering you and stopping you from focusing, find out what it is and deal with it. Unresolved issues take lots of energy away from focus.

4. On the Positive
Don’t let your mind fall down the tunnel of negativity and what-if thoughts. It’s literally a dead-end road that will take you nowhere. Focusing on the positives of a situation and in general, will do two things. First, it will keep your spirits up when times are tough, and you feel like giving up. Second, positive thoughts manifest more positive thoughts, which in and of itself is motivating.

Honing your thoughts in on specific tasks, aspects of life, and what you want out of your future is a process that takes time to work on. Your mind, like any muscle, works best when you train it regularly. Focusing on the items listed above daily will help train your brain to go to those items on its own, eventually turning you into a lean, mean, focusing machine.
